Purpose
You can use the Vulnerability Scanner to find potential security issues in your websites, web applications and APIs. Vulnerability scanning is important as it helps identify potential weaknesses and security flaws that could be exploited by attackers. By regularly scanning and addressing vulnerabilities, you can proactively strengthen your website security, reduce the risk of cyber-attacks and protect sensitive data.
Adding a Site
Select ‘Vulnerabilities’ from the main menu on the left of your screen.
Select ‘Add Site’ in the top-right of the screen.
Accept the terms and conditions of running a scan.
Enter information about the site you would like to scan including the primary URL and additional URLs.
Select ‘Save’.
Running a Scan
When a scan is underway, you will be able to see that scan in the main menu under the name you gave the scan. To check on the progress of the scan and/or the issues found by the scan, click on the scan in the scanning menu.
You will then be able to see whether the scan is complete at the bottom of the screen.
You will also be able to see the number of security issues found during the scan. To see a more detailed breakdown of the security issues found, click on the circle graph in the middle of the screen. This will bring up a chart of all of the security issues found distributed by threat level.
